Prediction League – Russia & Spain Results

Some interesting, and amazingly predicted, events occurred in Spain meaning Tom started to stretch out a small lead in the standings, but an impressive debut prediction from Ika Setyawati means she is already closing in on the pack despite missing the first 4 races of the season!

So let’s start start the recap in Russia…

First Retirement KYV ERI ALO KYV PAL
Number of Finishers 16 17 14 17 13

Tom managed to get the double by predictions both Vettel’s pole & Bottas’ win correctly.

Chris nailed the number of finishers for a point, and was closest with K-Mag’s finishing position of 13th for a half point.

Unfortunately for Stu & the Dats Life boys nothing came good for them and they ended the weekend empty handed.

Paul Kelsall started well with a half point for Palmer in the first retirement pick. Can he catch the others after missing 3 races!?

Due to Tom being a little bit slack with result posting, this post (as you will have already noticed) covers both the Russian GP and the Spanish GP.

So lets head to Barcelona..

An audacious prediction from Tom that Raikkonen would be hit in turn 1 by Bottas on his inside ending his race rounded off an altogether strong weekend where he also scored the pole with Hamilton and the exact number of finishes earning 3 points for the weekend.

Chris Stu both want to forget this weekend of predictions as neither manages to score points even though both were very close on a few predictions.

Paul Kelsall (Pole & Win) & the DATS Life (win) chaps picked up points with their Hamilton predictions after he did the double, but Listener of the Weekend, if such a thing existed, would surely have to go to Ika Setyawati as she earned 2.5 points on her debut by predicting a Hamilton win, being spot on with the 16 finishers and being closest to Pascal Wehrlein’s finishing position of 8th.

Standings

We are 5 races in and Tom is starting to stretch a lead from Chris, but how long will that last going into Monaco? Stu had a torrid couple of weeks and hasn’t earned any points in the last two races so will be hoping for more from his Monaco predictions this weekend.
New comers Paul KelsallIka Setyawati are already closing in on Stu and the DATS Life boys leap frog him into 3rd!

Chris Evans 6.5

Ika Setyawati 2.5
